Like Radiohead? Like Marching Bands?
Then check this out. It's the University of Arizona halftime show. Very, very cool. Goosebumps and all that.
Anyway. I was perusing Pitchfork's news recap for the year (it's where I got the above gem) and I also discovered this. Glockenspiels and other nice little instruments. Brynne and I are already excited about changing diapers to the sounds of Thom and the boys over Raffi and Barney, that's for sure!
Brynne was worried about all the songs in minor keys.. you know, freaking out the baby and whatnot. But I got to thinking about it, and it seems that most of our reactions to songs in a minor key are probably from our watching movies and hearing minors when the bad guys show up, or the hero dies or whatever.... right? Or is this an innate thing?
